The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office IX successfully conducted the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) evaluation for the Bachelor of Public Management (BPM) program of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) on July 23, 2026.

The assessment was conducted by the following distinguished assessors:

Mr. Conrad Quilab, MBA, CHED RO-IX Education Supervisor, emphasized, “Today’s evaluation is not merely a compliance exercise, but rather, it is an opportunity to validate the institution’s preparedness, in terms of administration, curriculum, instructional resources,faculty qualifications, research and extension, laboratories, and other quality assurance mechanisms essential to the successful implementation of the program.”

This signifies another milestone in the College’s continued efforts to expand its academic offerings and ensure quality higher education in accordance with CHED standards.
