The Alumni Affairs Office and the ZSCMST Alumni Association, Inc. of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) held its Grand Alumni Homecoming 2025, with the theme “Sailing Back Home: Rekindling Ties, Honoring Traditions, and Celebrating Success,” on December 13, 2025, at the ZSCMST Grounds. Alumni from different batches participated in this activity to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate shared milestones.

College President Dr. Roy L. Valesco, delivered a heartfelt message, saying, “In life, we all need a true north. It keeps us steady when life becomes uncertain. It reminds us who we are, when the world pulls us in different directions. No matter where life brought you—through triumphs, losses, challenges, and victories—you still found your way back to where your story began. That speaks not only of nostalgia, but of loyalty, of gratitude, and of the deep connection you carry within you.”

The activity was graced by the presence of Hon. Khymer Adan T. Olaso, City Mayor, and Hon. Kat Chua, District 1 Representative. The celebration also featured a motorcade, a thanksgiving mass, and a torch parade. There were also games, raffles, and production numbers.

This activity highlighted the lasting connection between ZSCMST and its alumni.
