The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) embarks on a new level of international partnership, this time with a private higher education based in Thailand.
Shinawatra University, which began operations in 1999 in Bangkok, Thailand, signed a partnership agreement with ZSCMST
to strengthen higher education learning, professional and academic collaboration, exchange programs for both students and faculty.
According to ZSCMST President Roy L. Valesco, Ph.D., the signing of the memorandum of agreement is a historical event for the state college, coinciding with its 70th Founding Anniversary celebration.
The agreement is a “powerful” international bridge of opportunity for both institutions. ZSCMST will benefit from Shinawatra University’s advanced technological framework, while sharing its expertise in maritime education, science, and fisheries research, creating a mutually beneficial collaboration.
