In every office, classroom, laboratory, and community space within Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology, women continue to shape the course of our institution through courage, wisdom, and leadership.

This International Women’s Day, we proudly honor the remarkable women of ZSCMST who serve in various designations across the College. Like the Babaylans of our history—respected leaders, healers, knowledge-keepers, and changemakers—our women embody strength, compassion, and vision in advancing our shared mission.

Anchored on the “Lead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas” theme of the Philippine Commission on Women for the National Women’s Month Celebration (Philippines), we celebrate the power of women’s leadership in building inclusive spaces, empowering communities, and inspiring the next generation.
