The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology continues to move forward—steadfast, committed, and driven by excellence.

Following the September 22–26, 2025 Survey Visit of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), ZSCMST is proud to share that the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science has been awarded Level I Accredited Status, affirming its compliance with quality standards and readiness for continuing advancement.

Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) majors in Agri-Fishery Arts (AFA), Home Economics (HE), and Information and Communications Technology (ICT), along with the Master of Arts in Education major in Filipino (MAEd Fil), have each been granted Candidate Status—a significant step toward full accreditation and a testament to their strong foundations.

These achievements are the result of the tireless efforts of the College Deans, Program Advisers, Local Task Force Chairs and Members, Self-Survey Teams, and the entire ZSCMST community, whose dedication strengthens the institution and whose commitment shapes its future.
