College President Dr. Roy Valesco was appointed as the Climate Ambassador for the Sustainable Climate Reality Project on February 11, 2026.

The Climate Reality Project was spearheaded by the Sustainable Climate Solutions Group based in Washington, USA. Dr. Valesco was recognized for his commitment to climate crisis programs. His efforts served as inspiration for others to take part in similar initiatives.

The conferment strengthens the partnership between Dr. Valesco, ZSCMST, and the Climate Reality Program, positioning the College as one of the leaders in climate advocacy through outreach activities, media forums, and community events. The appointment is also an avenue for the College and its President to lead, coordinate and partner with institutions, experts and organizations with climate-related campaigns, workshops and other implementations.

The Sustainable Climate Solutions Group treats Valesco’s partnership and acceptance to the appointment as a positive move to enhance the global movement against climate change, and positive outlooks to the advocacy.
