The 21st Convention of the Council of Deans for Teacher Education (CODTE), with the theme “Harnessing AI for Personalized, Inclusive, and Sustainable Teaching and Learning in the Era of Education 5.0,” officially opened on December 8, 2025, at the Octagon Hall of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST). This is a three-day activity, from December 8-10,2025.

CODTE IX is a regional organization composed of deans and heads of colleges or institutions offering teacher education programs within Region IX.

The convention aims to provide an avenue for academic leaders to exchange innovative approaches, best practices, and collaborative strategies toward enhancing teacher education programs.

The 21st CODTE Convention stands as a testament to the collective commitment of educator-leaders in building an adaptive, future-ready academic community geared toward shaping the next generation of teachers and learners.
