The Social Science Department and the Social Science Club of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) conducted the 2025 ASEAN Information Drive, with its theme, Inclusivity and Sustainability,” on November 17, 2025, at the MCLL Gymnasium. This activity aims to deepen awareness and appreciation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The event was graced by the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Hon. Maria Isabelle “Beng” Climaco-Salazar, City Vice Mayor, who delivered an inspiring message. “As we gather today for the 2025 ASEAN Information Drive, with the theme of inclusivity and sustainability, we celebrate our shared identity as ASEAN. ASEAN gives Filipinos many gifts—freer travel, more jobs, stronger trade, education, and exchanges,” she shared, highlighting the growing opportunities brought by ASEAN.

With continued efforts like this, ZSCMST remains steadfast in empowering students to engage with inter-country collaborations that promote progress and shared identity.
