Dr. Alvin C. Reyes, Vice President for Administration and Finance of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST), is deeply honored and privileged to represent the institution in the Philippine High-Level Mission to Wellington and Dunedin, New Zealand, to be held from June 23 to 28, 2025.
This strategic international engagement, organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), is part of the countryโs ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in higher education, harmonize policies on microcredentials and credit transfer systems, and affirm the Philippinesโ commitment to global educational standards and workforce mobility.
Dr. Reyes extends his heartfelt appreciation to CHED Commissioner Dr. Ethel Agnes P. Valenzuela, the ZSCMST Board of Trustees, and College President Dr. Roy C. Valesco for their continued support and confidence in entrusting him with this important representation.
He likewise expresses his deep gratitude to Atty. Lily Freida C. Macabangun-Milla, Director of the CHED International Affairs Service (IAS), for the invitation and for her visionary leadership in advancing international academic partnerships that uplift Philippine higher education on the global stage.
