As part of the advocacy of Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) to promote cleanliness of the environment, and in celebration of the 68th founding anniversary of the College, the employees conducted a cleanup drive along the coastline and mangrove forest of ZSCMST on July 2, 2024. This initiative was spearheaded by the Officer-In-Charge (OIC) College President, Dr. Danilo P. Corteza, and led by the Vice President of Student Affairs and Services, Mr. Roderick D. Trio.

Such activities are important for raising awareness about environmental conservation and encouraging the community to take an active role in protecting our natural resources. By this, we can help maintain the natural beauty of the coastal and mangrove ecosystems.

By engaging in this activity, ZSCMST reaffirms its commitment to environmental responsibility and sets a positive example for students and the community.
