Values Formation and Mental Health Program for the faculty of College of Education and Liberal Arts and other non-teaching personnel

The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology through the Guidance and Counseling Office, headed by Ms. Ma. Visitacion S. Emmanuel, spearheaded the first batch of Values Formation and Mental Health Program for the faculty of College of Education and Liberal Arts and other non-teaching personnel on April 19, 2024, at Woodland Resort, Zambowood, Zamboanga City.

Dr. Jaime G. Jalon, College President, who is also one of the event’s resource speakers, talked about the value of commitment, highlighting the true meaning of it as “sacrifice, spend time, exert full effort in the delivery of humble service.” Ms. Ma. Visitacion S. Emmanuel discussed about Resilience and Adaptability, emphasizing their importance in facing life’s challenges.

The Values Formation Program is an integral part of the total school program and is consistent with the Vision-Mission and Core Values of ZSCMST. This also highlights the institution’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its community.
