We served as representatives of Senator Imee R. Marcos in her program where financial assistance was distributed by DSWD Region IX to 1,000 beneficiaries who are students of Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology on April 4, 2024, held at the ZSCMST Dome Covered Court. Each beneficiary received ₱5,000.00 through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation or AICS Educational Assistance Grants program.

The said event Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation or AICS functions as a social safety net or a temporary fix to aid individuals and families in getting through unanticipated crises such as illness or the loss of a family member, among other crises.
