Maligayang Araw ng Kagitingan! 

We are expressing our highest esteem to all the celebrated and unsung heroes in our country. In line with this celebration, the ZSCMST remembers the selfless deed of Mr. Arth Louie Goopio, a BSME 3CI-Bravo student of ZSCMST, who died during the 2013 Zamboanga Siege.

The siege began on September 9, 2013, and during that fateful day, he never left his fellow victims . Unfortunately, he was shot and died during that incident. His death served as a sacrifice to other victims who managed to escape that ordeal.

Mr. Goopio is recognized as an epitome of valor and selflessness. Today, we are celebrating the valourousness of the famous, as well as the unknown heroes, like Mr. Goopio.
