The COVID-19 pandemic continues to guzzle around the world and has unleashed changes that seem impossible. It was unthinkable that the workforce of organizations would be working from home. In spite of the health danger and hazard brought about by the virulent disease, the ZSCMST Human Resource Management Office still managed to compose and brought upended workloads into progression -defined outputs as they do believe that they are the heart and life of the College. The Civil Service Commission Regional Office 9 recognized the role of the Human resource Management Office (HRMO) of the College in facilitating the achievement of this critical transformation. For this reason, ZSCMST was conferred on September 14, 2020 with Bronze Award in the Enhanced Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management. The college has epitomized a process-defined human resource management in all the four core Human Resource Management systems under the said program. It was hoped by the award giving body that the college will continue to inspire, to embrace PRIME-HRM and take the challenge of reinforcing HR functions towards improving HR systems. It was also stated by the CSC that the award granted by them is a manifestation that everyone in ZSCMST worked together under the helm of Dr. Jaime G. Jalon, the College President and managed by the HRMO Head- Mrs. Emma Santos, to adopt the tools on improving HR system for higher level and provide better assistance to achieve HR Goals towards strategic HR.
