A Joint Technical Panel Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) Evaluation for the Doctor of Philosophy in Teaching English for Specific Purposes (PhD TESP) under the College of Teacher Education of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) was conducted on October 27, 2026, at the Octagon Hall, ZSCMST.

College President Dr. Roy L. Valesco imparted a message, emphasizing the College’s commitment to continuous improvement of its educational programs. The activity was also graced by the visit of former College President Dr. Jaime G. Jalon.

The CHED Regional Quality Assessment Team are as follows:

4. Dr. Joe-An G. Cuaresma, Education Supervisor II for Teacher Education.

The assessment team conducted an ocular inspection of various offices within ZSCMST as part of the evaluation process.

The evaluation is an important step in assessing the program’s readiness and alignment with applicable quality standards for higher education.
