Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology attended a call for stake holders’ meeting on Thursday, October 1, 2026 together with Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University to discuss preparation for the World Skills’ National Skills Competition next year.
The Technical Education, Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) leads the event, with ZPSSU as host and ZSCMST as co-host, as well as Hytec Power Inc., an industrial and educational solutions provider.
The Zamboanga City Local Government discussed roles of partner stake holders and agencies, management, security, and other requirements for the WorldSkills Philippines Zamboanga 2026, a gathering of different industries and workers, a first in Zamboanga City.
Dr. Alvin C. Reyes, Vice President for Administration and Finance represented ZSCMST during the meeting at City Hall Conference Room.
