On October 5, 2026, the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) gathered its faculty members to celebrate National Teachers’ Day, honoring the educators whose dedication continues to shape the lives, learning, and futures of ZSCMST students.

In his message, College President Dr. Roy L. Valesco underscored the vital role of the faculty in the institution, saying:

“Simply put, you are ZSCMST. You have always been our anchor, selflessly giving your all so that our students may succeed.”

His words reflect the essence of the celebration. Teachers do more than deliver lessons. They guide, mentor, encourage, and inspire students to keep moving forward. Their work may not always be seen, but its impact is carried by every student they help shape.

Today, ZSCMST honors every faculty member whose commitment continues to strengthen the College and help its students succeed.

Teacher, ikaw naman.

This time, the appreciation is for you.

Happy National Teachers’ Day to the faculty of ZSCMST!
