As part of the celebration of Fish Conservation Week, the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension (OVPRIE) conducted a mangrove site cleanup on September 24, 2026.

Selected students from the BS Environmental Science and BS Fisheries, together with faculty and staff from the College of Fisheries and Allied Sciences (CFAS) and personnel from the Extension Services Office of OVPRIE, participated in the activity to help maintain and protect mangrove areas.

The activity supports efforts to promote environmental awareness and shared responsibility in protecting the country’s marine and coastal resources.
