Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology supports Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on September 12, 2026, with Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rachelle Lauriaga in attendance. Pampanga State University served as CHED’s initiative launchpad centered on graduate-level discourse.

With a commitment signing, representatives from the State College and Universities can now roll out the initiatives of a more intelligent discussion on graduate school initiatives that can encourage creative thinking, program discourse and fresh topics that may be complex in answers.

CHED Commissioner Michele Aguilar Ong led the launch with Wesleyan University President Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro, Jr. as the inaugural speaker at the PamSu. The elevated conversation series will move to different SUCs and Universities, bringing about a continuous stimulation of ideas in line with CHED’s A.C.H.I.E.V.E. Agenda 2030 vision of a future-oriented higher education sector by providing venue to the academe in threading familiar ideas to innovations.
