The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) was recognized by the Philippine Red Cross – Zamboanga City Chapter during the Blood Donors’ Recognition Ceremony held on July 31, 2026, at the Atrium, Ground Floor, East Wing of KCC Mall de Zamboanga.

The institution received the Outstanding Blood Services Partner and Bloodiest Academic Partner awards in recognition of its significant contributions to voluntary blood donation initiatives. The awards were received on behalf of ZSCMST by Dr. Roderick D. Trio, Director of Administrative Services.

Through its active partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, the College has consistently supported blood donation drives that help ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for individuals in need.
