The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) invested in the StrikePlagiarism plagiarism detection software to strengthen the institution’s instruction, research and publication services.

In relation to this initiative, the faculty of ZSCMST actively participated in an online training on the use of StrikePlagiarism (Plagiarism Checker Software) and Grammarly by CE Logic on July 28, 2026.

Participants were introduced to the platform’s tools for detecting similarities, generating originality reports, and promoting ethical writing practices.

The Office of the Research and Publication Services, as the designated end user of the StrikePlagiarism system, will oversee its implementation and administration.
