The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology, through its Health and Medical Services, in collaboration with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), is conducting a two-day First Aid Training from December 11–12, 2025, at the ZSCMST Dome.

The training focuses on emergency response and basic life support, equipping participants with the skills needed to respond to medical emergencies, including situation assessment, first aid administration, and life-saving techniques. The session also covers proper response and rescue procedures during earthquakes.

This initiative reflects ZSCMST’s commitment to campus safety and its dedication to building the capacity to respond effectively during emergencies. The training ensures that faculty and students are prepared to assist others in times of need, contributing to a safer and more resilient campus community.
