Technology and Innovation Dissemination for Empowerment and Sustainability (TIDES) 2025

The Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension (OVPRIE) through Research and Development Office (RDO) of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) conducted the Technology and Innovation Dissemination for Empowerment and Sustainability (TIDES) 2025 with the theme, “Strengthening Research Visibility through Data Dissemination and Knowledge Sharing, on November 12, 2025, at the Octagon Hall, ZSCMST.

Day 1 is the In-House Review which serves as the institution’s formal venue to assess the progress and quality of completed and ongoing research projects, including institutional and externally funded studies, as well as undergraduate theses.

This annual gathering strengthens research culture by ensuring that outputs remain relevant, evidence-based, and aligned with institutional and national priorities.

Dr. Maila V. Pan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension, emphasized the importance of translating research outputs into actions that create impact, saying, “This gathering embodies our collective commitment to advancing knowledge, promoting innovation, and ensuring that the outputs of research are translated into meaningful actions that uplift communities and sustain our environment.”

ZSCMST signifies its dedication to empowering researchers, strengthening partnerships, and sustaining innovations that contribute to institutional progress.
