he Quality Assurance Office of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) is conducting its In-House AACCUP Training on August 19–20, 2025 at the Octagon Hall, ZSCMST. The two-day capacity-building workshop aimed to prepare the College’s local task force for accreditation readiness through simulation activities and collaborative exercises.

The training served as an avenue for participants to learn, collaborate, and benchmark internally, sharpening their skills and strengthening their commitment to meet the standards set by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

College President Dr. Roy L. Valesco emphasized in his message that accreditation is not merely about compliance or securing a title. He remarked, “Through AACCUP, our programs are continuously evaluated, strengthened, and enhanced. This enables us to remain globally competitive and steadfast as a true center of excellence.”

By empowering its local task force, ZSCMST reaffirms its commitment to quality assurance and academic excellence, ensuring that its programs remain responsive to the demands of a rapidly changing educational landscape.
