A Memorandum of Agreement was formally signed between the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) and the Western Mindanao Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESMAARRDEC) on July 23, 2025, at the Office of the College President, ZSCMST.

The agreement affirms the commitment of both parties to engage in research and development through the acceleration, generation, verification, utilization, and commercialization of technologies in the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) sectors.

This collaboration reflects the shared vision of both ZSCMST and WESMAARRDEC to advance science, technology, and innovation for the benefit of the region and its people.
