In honor of Dia de Zamboanga, ZSCMST proudly participated in the Birds Photo Exhibit at the City Hall Lobby today, February 21, 2025. Representing ZSCMST and the OIC President, Mr. Roderick D. Trio, were Dr. Alvin C. Reyes, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Rachel D. Lauriaga, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. Alinasser A. Yusop, JD, Education Program Specialist II; and Ms. Dayna Allian, College Board Secretary I.

The event was graced by City Administrator Atty. Wendell Sotto, DENR Representative Dr. Agaton Baysa, WMSU VPSAS Dr. Fredelino San Juan, and Ms. Sarita Sebastian, City Tourism Officer, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The exhibit showcased the city’s rich avian biodiversityβ€”a vital treasure for eco-tourism and conservation efforts.

As a dedicated advocate for environmental preservation, ZSCMST remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting bird sanctuaries and natural habitats. Later today, the team will proceed to ZSCMST Campus A, the official host of a bird-watching activity, further reinforcing its role in sustaining and promoting local wildlife conservation.
