The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) is currently undergoing a Program Re-evaluation and Ocular Inspection of the College of Fisheries and Marine Sciences from December 12–13, 2024.

The OIC-College President, Mr. Roderick D. Trio, expressed his full support and encouraged the college to strive for excellence in the field of fisheries and marine sciences.

Dr. Jose Vicente Mikael A. Regalado, CHED RO-IX Education Supervisor, provided the rationale for the program re-evaluation, emphasizing its importance in maintaining high academic standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
