Today marked the beginning of a promising journey as Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) held its Monday Flag Ceremony and Opening Program for the school year 2024-2025 at the MCLL Gymnasium.

Dr. Rachelle D. Lauriaga, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Services, warmly welcomed the new students, acknowledging the challenges of a new environment while emphasizing that their ambitions and goals will guide them in adapting and thriving on this journey.

On the other hand, Mr. Roderick D. Trio, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, also extended his welcome and reminded the students of the importance of responsibility in shaping their core values as ZSCMST students.

Also in attendance were the Vice President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Alvin C. Reyes, along with College Deans, Teaching, and Non-teaching personnel.

As we embark on this new academic year, remember that ZSCMST is not just a place of learning but a community that nurtures growth and excellence. Together, let us uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and perseverance that define us as proud members of ZSCMST.
