The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) successfully concluded its Exit Conference with the Commission on Audit (COA) on May 29, 2025. This conference marked the completion of the audit process for Calendar Year (CY) 2024, focusing on the compliance of the institution’s financial transactions with government audit standards.

The COA team presented their audit observations, recommendations, and follow-ups on prior year audit issues. The meeting aims to strengthen good governance and accountability in public service.

-Arman H. Asnawi – Supervising Auditor

-Alexa N. Potayre – OIC, State Auditor III

-Jeffrey B. Tan – State Auditor Examiner

-Mr. Roderick D. Trio – Vice President for Student Affairs and Services

-Dr. Rachel D. Lauriaga – Vice President for Academic Affairs

-Dr. Maila V. Pan – Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension

Also in attendance were heads, directors, and staff of ZSCMST’s administration offices.

ZSCMST expressed its appreciation to the Commission on Audit for its professional guidance and affirmed its commitment to continuously improve institutional systems and processes guided by principles of transparency and accountability.
